Andalucia - between Orient and Occident

Moorish culture is all around in southern Spain, not only in Granada's famous Alhambra and Generalife but also in the secluded white villages nestled along the mountain range of Sierra Nevada.

Bustling cities like Sevilla and Cordoba, traditions as sherry and flamenco, all this is Andalucia!

We also take you with us to the largest pilgrimage of Spain to the Romeria El Rocio, where about one million people gather each year around pentecost to adore the Virgin Mary of El Rocio. A great happening, deeply religious and overwhelming typical Andalusian with lots of Manzanilla-Sherry, Flamenco dancing - another jamboree!

Being a touroperator, I know Andalucia quite well, but looking at the extraordinary images at Sabine's show I saw the region with different eyes. Highlight of the show: the pilgrimage to El Rocio.
